Ten years later we get the true definition of next-gen. Back then the original would drive people mad because it put their play effort constantly at peril, be it with a barrage of overpowering enemies possibly lurking around the next corner, hellish boss fights or just unfair level design. Today this will drive people mad because of words like "white world tendency".
