i like how it reminded me of fable but was harder and more hardcore and to a bethesda or bioware style game in ways. i liked actually using some magic when i dont usually. like turning into a dragon. wish i played it back then...well shit it was 2009. well still lol but it woulda been best for me in 07 probably. mind reading was kinda cool. but it didnt do dialogue and branching shit very well right?

I'm not a fan of dumb action RPGs. The whole dragon thing didn't do anything for me either.

The game has charm and some goofy writing, but the storytelling and lore are crappy. The game has a lot of interesting mechanics but often adds an aspect of it that ruins it. Mind reading is cool, but it always costs EXP and it's usually not worth reading people's minds, which encourages save scumming. The combat is an absolute cheese fest since you can be CC chained to death and enemies have retarded heals. This game is difficult in the worst way possible, and is a lot of lost potential.
