Don't Starve

I'm sure there exists a whole lot of fun content in Don't Starve, but I know I'll never see most of it, because every run requires so much prep time just to reach a point of basic survivability before you can even think about exploring new places or trying new things. And if RNG isn't on your side, you might just dedicate 2-3 hours to another doomed session. The game requires too much work before you're allowed to have fun.

What's with these reviews? This is a survival game...the goal is surviving. Exploring, gathering resources, surviving, all that. Of course it takes time to prep for that and yes it's permadeath. If you don't like that then this game just isn't for you. I mean I'm not giving a visual novel a bad review because I don't like reading either...that would be kinda dumb

No specific goal to follow

Not being able to restart where you died is a big negative.

Wish I liked this game more, but the beginning takes way too long.
