For the most part I don't feel like console shooters from the mid-90s have aged well.

At best it's ok. Maybe puzzle fans would like it since it's less of a shooter and more of a puzzle game, with you regularly getting stopped in your tracks in order to figure out some cryptic bullshit, usually involving backtracking. When it's actual run and gun shooting it's actual preety good, but it just gets tedious after a while. I got to level 6, when I saw there were 32 levels in total I just said fuck it.

Combats are fun, fighting the enemy is fun. However puzzles like circling all around the map and looking for the correct button to push - so old school and user un-friendly in my book. After a while it got me boring.
