The game followsDarius and Sharline, who both possess a mark on their hands, called a crest, which is considered cursed and brings their bearers (and everyone who encounters them) misfortune. It might be true. One day, these bearers somehow find themselves whisked away from their home continent of Edinbury and into the magical world of the Rieubane Empire, a kingdom considered a fairy tale in their home world. Damn I remember this being kind of okay. I don't know if it's just because it was one of the early PS2 games so I was blind or what. Screw it, I'll still give it a passing grade.

This game was painfully dated at the time of its release, now it's a comedy gold mine, especially the music.

One of the earliest PS2 titles and also one of its schlockiest - Featuring hilariously bad voice acting, an awful plot, and bland environments. The combat is fundamentally awful - enemies have samey designs and the optimal strategy is to just circle around them until your stamina refills back up for a power attack. It has a few bosses that are decently challenging, but in between all of the boring puzzles and awful combat it's hard to give them much praise.
