rating it as a movie experiment, not a game.

This wasn't for me. After my attention wavered after a couple of hours of random hopping, I followed a guide to see all the pertinent scenes. I definitely wouldn't have bothered without its direction.

The lack of imagination and sense of wonder in the people who think something this incredibly hooky and player-friendly is directionless or dumb blows my mind. Top video game of 2022 for my money.

I found the game mechanics contrived and illogical. I played for two hours looking through clips with no idea what I was looking for. No sense of direction, no narrative hook. The idea of the design is very interesting, and some points for originality, but the execution leaves something to be desired.

You have to watch three crappy movies and click at random to progress. That may be one of the dumbest game ever made. And not only are the three movies terrible, but you also have to watch boring rehearsals and even script reading ! It's not a game but a punishment.
