Jill of the Jungle: Jill Goes Underground
Jill of the Jungle 2 is the second in the Jill of the Jungle trilogy. It follows the same concept but includes new graphics, somewhat improved animation, and completely new levels and musical soundtrack. After having explored the depth of the mysterious jungle, Jill proceeds into Montezuma's castle and indeed goes underground in the attempt to rescue her Prince. The gameplay is side-viewed and platform-style, with hazards to overcome include fire-breathing enemies and spikes. (mobygames.com)

More of the same in this first sequel to Jill of the Jungle. Nothing has changed, really, apart from a couple of new enemies being introduced and some minor changes in the level design. The whole series definitely feels dated throughout and it is probably not a game that one would ordinarily play unless one has nostalgic feelings towards the game. I myself being the exception. Again, ends just when it starts to get boring and repetitive. / completed March '21
