Just Cause 2

alright game.

A sandbox filled with the sort of fun the first game tried to promise but couldn't quite deliver. The plot's barely there (though there are some flashier scripted missions), but you don't really need much pretext to be zipping around these varied environments blowing things up. And "zipping" is the word, as the grappling hook and parachute combo has come together this time in a fun way that helped set the trend for putting big maps to good use with absurd super-powered means of traversal.

Great game.

Just Cause 2 is enormous, explosive, fast, and gorgeous to look at. The story is pointless and brings nothing to the game. This would be an issue if not for the amazing action game play and worthwhile stunts and side quests to occupy your time. The best of the barrage of GTA clones to ever grace console gaming.
