There's a high level of challenge, cool world-building and character selection, and fun weapons that all have an alternate fire mode. Feels like a lot of variety considering all you do is shoot clones in the helmet

An average at best FPS with a cool aesthetic. While, it nails the setting and feel of realistic, gritty warfare, it doesn't mean much if the game itself is littered with bugs, shoddy AI, frame-rate issues, poor draw distance and awkward controls. The fact that such a mediocre game was hyped as a "Halo killer" is quite frankly laughable, fortunately it still sold well enough to give us some far better sequels.
