A golf video game which is viewed from an isometric perspective. Instead of a ball, the player tries to hit Kirby around the course and into the hole at the end. Players must set the power, angle, and spin to connect with various enemies found throughout the levels. The different abilities that Kirby can obtain from many of the enemies make up a large part of the game, often being required for completion of a hole. (Wikipedia)

I played this a decent amount as a kid but never fully knew what the fuck I was doing. It wasn't until I returned to it as a 20-something that I realized, "Oh! It's Kirby golf! Duh!" By the way, it's not just Kirby golf, it's the best golf game ever made. EVER. I believe when I told my golf-game enthusiast friend about it, he said, "WHAT!!!" and then we played it a lot. So, yeah, I love this game. It's so unique and competitive.

Quite a lot of addictive fun, fusing aspects of strategy, puzzle, and action into a very unique whole; I don't know that I've ever played another game like it. It's a very bipolar experience between calm and frantic - there's no pressure to make your move quickly, but once you do, oh man, the littlest mistake can blow your whole run! I played this one deep into the AM hours many a night back in '95.
