La Pucelle: Tactics

This game is like a prototype Disgaea where it boasts similar concepts but is comparatively more barebones and less polished. The game's version of the geo mechanic has far less influence on battles and map design is generally kind of bland, especially since the ai is incredibly stupid. Plot wise, the game is pretty uninteresting but boasts a likable enough cast that makes its bland plot at least watchable. It still gets me that the demon queen ending from this game is canon.

Disgaea lite. I didn't find the characters or story interesting enough, though I did slog on to the end.
