Mafia delivers a gripping, cinematic crime saga with a meticulously crafted 1930s world and a story that rivals The Godfather in its tragic weight. The driving mechanics (period-accurate speed limits!) and shootouts hold up surprisingly well, though clunky controls and unforgiving mission design (that race level…) test patience. Its linear focus and lack of open-world fluff make it a tighter—and darker—experience than GTA.

Classic, definitely need to play it again.
