Starts ok, but it's unbalanced and the combat gets tedious.

One of the most atmospheric games I've ever played. Medievil strikes a great balance between horror and comedy, exuding personality with each location you visit, complimented by its fantastic writing and solid plot. While the combat is a bit clunky, the game designs itself around this and makes exploring each level satisfying and fun. Also, the boss battles are epic and look great aesthetically.
