Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake

Devour this game and enjoy the first Metal Gear Solid even more. You won't get hard hitting insight like "play the 2nd game in a series to enjoy the 3rd game more" any other place than here people! Get it while it's hot.

This is the game where the series started to carve its own identity as we know it today, and what MGS1 would derive many plot and gameplay elements from. Compared to the first game, it introduces a lot that makes the gameplay smoother and satisfying - actually getting away from enemies is tense and exciting. However, the game has a tendency to toss out a lot of dumb and overly vague puzzles or gimmicks that are just flat out poorly design. Revolutionary for its time, but pretty flawed today.

A genuine classic.
