lots of underwater, air, and space battles. Not enough ground levels. Feels like playing an entirely different game with those non-ground levels and not a lot of bad guys to kill, most are bullet soaking monsters.

A bit jarring how long this game is compared to its prequels but it also has more to offer, for better or worse. I love how well this game bombards you with a lot of varied enemy types while also boasting some of the best boss fights in the series, but I can't say the shump sections enthralled me much and the final stretch is overly long and has a lot of boring sections. Though if nothing else, this game's presentation is so damn cool it's easy to get sucked into its style.
