Metro: Last Light

An improvement on the original. It adds a few things but sticks to what the first one does from a mechanical perspective. And I'm completely fine with this because this is an excellent trilogy of FPSs.

I love how useless the plot summaries for almost all the video game submissions are it's like looking up Footloose and getting "A movie made in 1984 by Paramount shown in theaters and distributed by Nova Films in the Netherlands. There's as much insight in this review. (A city teenager moves to a small town where rock music and dancing have been banned, and his rebellious spirit shakes up the populace.) Replace city teenager with russians and throw in nuclear war and you get the gist of this.

Played the Redux version. Not as atmospheric as its predecessor, but brings some new dynamics to the setting and is at least as enjoyable.
