New Pokémon Snap

Takes me back to the colourful joy that Pokemon Go gave the world 5 years ago. It feels like listening to The Avalanches's Wildflower for the 2nd time. It feels like swimming and looking at the sky turn less blue compared to the pool tiles. I haven't played the original version so this is all I know

I fail to understand the appeal. You are stuck on a train track staring at stuff. No story to speak of. Some people enjoy the nature-centricity of the game, with no dialogue and little to no interaction with the observable surroundings. Jesus people, just go out. I know this is rich coming from a middle aged Pokemon nerd, but even I'm not this depressively wanting to avoid the real world.

I was a fan of the original Pokémon Snap on the N64. It's nostalgic and fun, for a while

Too childish and superficial... it could actually be cool if pokemon made more sense. Gameplay is not fun and it is repetitive. Graphics are meh.
