Odin Sphere

The combat system isn't the most amazing thing in the world but it felt really weighty and satisfying to play. However, playing through it can be a slog. While all of the playable characters are unique, you have to go through the same levels with them that you played through with past characters which can get tiresome. The plot is hit and miss, but the ending chapter was fantastic. The enemies/bosses in this game range from fun to fight to outright fucking aggravating. Good game overall, though.
