The game is like a mix of Total War and Civ but with none of the merits of either while also making both worse and stripping away mechanics they had. For one, the game has awful feedback. Trade, combat reports, sieges, etc leave out a lot of vital information. Even disregarding this, the game is painfully slow and boring, with weird balance issues. Battles between peasants and advanced troops can last for 20 turns, often with comparable losses. There's so much I could complain about this game.
