Scam Game

UPDATE: Welp. Looks like the PvE is gone. It's just a slightly worse version of Overwatch now. 5v5 - bad idea. Replacing lootboxes and blocking heroes behind a freemium paywall - also a bad idea. Now I'm worried about the PvE that they've been hyping ever since they announced this thing. But in terms of everything else, it's pretty much the same game, which begs the question: "What was the point?"

Gameplay is fun, characters are dull, and the voicelines are absolute cringe.

Love Tracer. Teleport around a player and look at his confused face while shooting at him is so puckish.

Skipped first, only played this since it's free. I like it just fine. I like some of the modes, but hate that they rotate. I understand that you have to "go to Overwatch University" (as my bro said) in order to really get into the mechanics and who does best against who, etc. I'm not willing to put that much effort into this so to me it's just a fun, fast shooter that feels good. Good variety in characters. An okay amount of content, but I understand that fans of the 1st are mad. Fair enough.

It's the same game but worse, with less content and rewards. The minute I saw that Microsoft bought Blizzard I knew this "sequel" would be garbage. It makes me so sad because now you can't even play the first game anymore! If you want to play it it's fun just know you're getting a dumbed down inferior experience to OW1.

It's fine

Early days, but this feels strangely soulless, if enjoyable enough to drop in for a few games.
