Oxenfree

Neat little adventure game with an interesting story and well-written characters. Doesn't get caught up in obtuse puzzles that make no sense, which is a hallmark of the genre (and one of the reasons that it's not a genre I generally flock to).

There's a lot of talking in this game, too much in fact. They also talk so fast that choices disappear before I can think what to choose lmao. I do like the science fiction and mystery aspect of this game but not the ghosty part. Unfortunately, there's a lot of focus on ghosty part. The walking in this game sucks. I like the flash back scenes.

I knew nothing about this game going into it, and that's how you should as well. It's a great little game with interesting characters and a good story. It's kind of creepy too, even for a 2D platformer. There are different endings to the game as well, depending on your choices.
