Pokémon XD: Gale of Darkness

Tries to improve on the shadow pokemon concept but... really it felt like a buy-in just so you could get pokemon you otherwise couldn't. I know when I'm being milked for dollars.

This game recycles a lot from its predecessor and was clearly rushed, but it makes a few tweaks that make it more bearable. There is generally a lot more content (about 90 Pokemon to catch this time) and the shadow system is less retarded. However, I thought battles were much easier and the radar system they added was atrociously obnoxious. Compared to Colleseum, the game's artstyle is much more boring and the atmosphere is lamer. Overall, both an improvement and regression of its prequel.
