Cool game with a lot of replayability and interesting ideas. The procedural generation is pretty well handled. I love the melancholy atmosphere and the creativity of the world building. However the crafting systems are too unwieldy. The fact that you can't save builds makes switching between them a headache.

Souls-like shooter, with some decent polish. Didn't feel like my character changed too much in my 10-15 hours with it, but mechanics felt solid. The RNG can lead to some frustration--ultimately got stuck on a boss with some bullet sponge modifier that was not fun

Loot and progression systems aren't very exciting, but like the first one, the gameplay is really satisfying. It just feels good to shoot. The enemies/bosses are varied and fun (except for the final boss, fuck him). A lot of fun with someone.

I really love this game. More content following DLC releases has offset some of my complaints about location variety. If Survival Mode is ever reintroduced for unlimited replayability, this might end up with a perfect score.
