Shadow Man

I never did beat this but I remember finding it pretty cool when I played it back almost twenty years ago, both in its dark horror presentation and its exploration/action/puzzle gameplay. My retro video game store has a copy for like $10 and I should really pick it up and get back into it.

Shadow Man is such a fascinating game to me in that its more defined by its convoluted structure than any individual gameplay elements. The platform is the most rigid, boring shit and the combat is mindless circle strafing but I won't deny that there's a style to all of this that I just find so damn endearing, even if the strong points of its adaption won't be apparent to you without familiarity of the comic. It's not a good game by any stretch but I do think it's really damn cool despite that.
