the strange and unnerving but captivating music at the beginning really creates the whole vibe of the game. A strange reality. I feel like this is the first surreal/horror RPG that's done right. Set in the 90s. Tension, world changing events, and atmosphere. Interesting events. Even the pixel art of people with no face creates a sense of creepiness and unsettling vibe. The vibe and setting really carry the game for me as I don't like the dungeon crawling gameplay aspect at all.
