Star Fox: Assault

It's not a bad shooter but at this point Star Fox is still much better suited to be a flight sim, which is does but not all that well.

It's an amusing on-rails shooter but I think Star Fox 64 definitely plays better and has more charm.

The on foot missions are tiring and boring, but the arwing sections are decent. But the thing is, the arwing sections are only a quarter of the game which is filled to the brim with awful, incredibly awkward cutscenes that takes itself way too seriously and the aforementioned on foot sections. I'd rate this game higher if it focused more on the arwing sections, but alas we can't always get what we want.
