Not good. They try to make this an open World game. Just stick to the 2D fighting.

Beautiful and fun - and loads better than its predecessor - SF6 seems to be a well-balanced and entertaining addition to the series. I enjoyed playing through all the non-DLC characters' stories and watching competitive matches during EVO but I won't be playing the much more and the clunky open world single player experience was pretty dull. Still, a step back in the right direction!

Street Fighter VI is like... fine but... I dunno man I think the game is too centralized on how drive rush works? Drive rush is practically the only thing anyone does in a match and contributes to so much lame shit in both the combo game and neutral. Not to mention a lot of other annoying things like how overly strong throws are or the way the game will just eat your inputs. I think there's some merit in a fighting game based around meter, but drive serves to be more lame than interesting.

Genuine contender for 2023 game of the year. One of the best fighting games of all times, whether as a singleplayer experience or an exclusively-online one.
