Super Mario Party

Super Mario Party

2018
Party
The traditional gameplay of the older Mario Party games returns in Super Mario Party. The standard game mode, Party Mode, features up to four players taking turns and navigating the board in search of stars while competing against one another in a variety of minigames. A second mode, known as Partner Party, has two teams of two players also searching for stars on a free-movement board similar to those in Mario Party: Star Rush. (wikipedia.org)

Looks like Nintendo has stripped Mario Party down to its bones in order to re-launch it with a "Super" in its title. Subsequently, the game offers less content than I'd like, but the minigames are still creative and fun, often employing Switch tech without feeling overbearing like the Wii versions. This is a great icebreaker for any get-together.

I really like this Mario Party game. It has a lot of modes to play, every character has their own unique die. They brought back elements from the gamecube Mario Party 4 which is stealing coins and stars which lakitu now does and also the instant warp to the star replaced by the Gold pipe. Boards are smaller, Only 4 boards in this one. Gameplay very good in this.

Still fairly fun but I feel like the minigames are still fairly unbalanced and there is not a lot of content here.
