Tales of Xillia 2

Xillia 2 is an interesting game to me in that it's simultaneously unnecessary but presents a fascinating approach to a sequel. Unfortunately, it's hampered by really ham-fisted writing that leads its big plot beats to become more melodramatic than emotional, especially considering some of the game's odd character choices. Aside from that, the gameplay is a step up in that it's basically Xillia but with more beef, although I do think the bosses in this game are more insufferable to fight.
