The Last of Us Part I

An improved version of a game that is already outstanding.

This game has remained my favorite game of all time since it was released. This is still true, and this game makes it even better. WAY better graphics and animation, and some nice improvements to the gameplay as well. I thought it was well worth it to get this at full price.

bought it used for 40 bucks. way more adequate for a game I already own. twice. questionable pricing aside, this is definitely the way to play TLOU today. everything has been refined, it looks gorgeous, handles smoother and has more "oomph", esp. in gunplay. there's still some glitches and weird NPC-behavior, but it doesn't detract from the overall masterclass atmosphere. the title had me worried, but thankfully nothing beside the doc got retconned to reference that brain hemorrhage of a sequel.
