The counter system just kills it for me. If the players are consistent, essentially whoever gets the advantage in the counter meter is going to be allowed to just maul the opponent unopposed. If you don't have meter, tough shit! You're not doing anything for about 3 minutes! Aside from that, the content of the game is lacking. No create a story, a crappy promo system, absolutely garbage career mode, static universe mode. There are a lot of wrestlers and WWE's roster was jacked in 2017, but meh?

It's not a perfect game, but it's the best choice you have if you want a WWE simulator.
