Wolfenstein: Youngblood

didn't finish, gameplay good but level system and writing is terrible for the series

When I first started playing it I was into the co-op action. It still feels good to play, but then after I played it for a while I realized I was just going to the same places, nothing interesting was going on. It's an example of a game that wants to be a little more open but doesn't need to be. So then ultimately I ended up not liking it, so I can't in good faith give it a passing grade. But it's close because there is some good to be found here.

Giving enemies a level bar etc totally ruins everything that made the other new wolfenstein games great - I can maim you with my bare Nazi hatin' hands. Totally loses all steam the moment it becomes back tracking to the same maps to kill a different general etc. Still looking forward to another in the series. I want more tortured monologues.
