||Dark Souls III (2016) - Apr 07, 2019
"Dark Souls 3 suffers from a severe case of dissociative personality disorder. It wants to be Dark Souls 1 and Bloodborne at the same time, and as a result it fails to become both. The game starts out strong but becomes increasingly more boring with time, culminating (for me) with the very disappointing Ariandel DLC, after which I quit. Who thought it was a good idea to put 10 enemies who literally consume your health bar just by looking at you in the same area so you have to kite them all?"
||Resident Evil 2 (2019) - Feb 20, 2019
"I hate to admit it, but this was my first Resident Evil game, or at least the first one I've ever finished. I'm the biggest wuss in the world and have always avoided horror games like the plague and merely resorted to YouTube let's plays for my fix, but I had to pick this one up. The graphics and controls in RE2 remake are mesmerizing, and though story and level design show their age, it's refined and modernised enough to lure in new players incapable of stomaching the tank controls of yore."
