"The gameplay isn't terrible, but the lazy-ass writing detracts from the very short bursts of fun you occasionally have with the shooting. And those bursts certaintly don't occur during bullet-spongey boss fights."
88% Death Stranding (2019) - Dec 09, 2019
"This would have been an easy top 10 games of all time if only the story was written better. I'm flabbergasted at how KojiPro managed to gamify such mundane-ass looking tasks. It truly is a walking simulator in every sense of the word, so it blows my mind how a simple game about delivering packages can be so addictive. The writing is confusing and just flat out cringeworthy most of the time, but the cinematography is often beautiful and weird as shit in a way like no other game is."
88% Tetris Effect (2018) - Dec 09, 2019
"This game is just awesome. I'd never played Tetris before this but this was a great introduction to the game, and it's enhanced in VR for an immersive and beautiful experience. The original soundtrack is lovingly crafted and dynamically fitted to the style of the level, with beats and samples playing to the rhythm of your moves. Best game to introduce someone to Tetris for sure, and an overall excellent Tetris experience."

36% Fallout: New Vegas (2010) - Aug 08, 2019
"I realise I'm being overly critical of this gem, but I just cannot take a game made in this janky-ass engine seriously in 2019. It took me a day to mod it properly and even then it dips below 40 fps in The Strip. The writing is truly in a class of its own and almost unprecedented in this medium, but the plot is woefully lacking in narrative hooks of any kind and no aspects of the gameplay are any "fun" to play. Had I discovered it right after FO3 it would have been a different story, but alas."
