85 73% It Takes Two (2021) - Rated 31 Oct 2021
"Pretty great game, especially if you can play this co-op with someone you like. Incredibly varied and mostly fun gameplay. Probably one of the best co-op video games ever made. Storywise, it has a few nice moments and it's never terrible, but it doesn't live up to the uniqueness of the gameplay. So play it for the fun gameplay and for sharing time with someone you like to spend time with."
76 31% Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light (2010) - Rated 04 May 2021
"Fun for co-op, and generally a fun game, but the story is completely expendable."
75 21% Star Wars: Battlefront II (2017) - Rated 17 Apr 2021
"It looks beautiful, but that is also pretty much the only thing it has going for it (and the license of course). The campaign has a really bad story and the gameplay just isn't very exciting after the first few hours. The multiplayer isn't really my cup of tea and the grinding / microtransactions are ugly and annoying. Is it really that much to ask to get a good or at least decent Star Wars story? I still enjoyed playing parts of the campaign, despite these annoyances. It does feel Star Warsy."
77 38% L.A. Noire (2011) - Rated 25 Mar 2021
"I liked it, does some things very well, but can also get a bit repetitive. Generally quite good."
71 9% Lego Harry Potter: Years 1-4 (2010) - Rated 14 Nov 2020
"Alright LEGO game, great if you're the target audience."
69 6% Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor (2014) - Rated 14 Nov 2020
"I enjoyed the first few hours quite a lot. It's fun how the world opens up, you get more cool abilities and there are more things to do. However, it then quickly becomes repetitive and doesn't have any redeeming factors. I was often very frustrated, not because of the difficulty, but because of things not working out I'd expect or want them to. The story/writing is pretty terrible and it tries to cram every line uttered in the LotR films in here, which was very jarring. Not great."
91 94% Deus Ex: Mankind Divided (2016) - Rated 01 Nov 2020
"The story isn't as good and memorable as in Human Revolution (HR) and the ending is quite the cliffhanger, but man is it awesome to be Adam Jensen again! Aside from the story and (lack of) diversity in location, it improves on the very strong foundation of HR in nearly all other aspects. The gameplay is fantastic, the graphics are great, the writing is good and most side quests are really fun and memorable. Hopefully this game gets the sequel it deserved. I always asked for this!"
69 6% Curse of the Pharaohs (2018) - Rated 01 Nov 2020
"I liked 'Hidden Ones' better. This expansion is quite long, the storyline not very good, side quests aren't interesting and the locale is quite similar to the main game, except for the Afterlife. All in all I was a bit disappointed in this expansion, could've been much more interesting. Still fairly enjoyable as the core gameplay and surroundings are nice, just doesn't bring much new to the table."
84 68% Life Is Strange (2015) - Rated 21 Aug 2020
"Loved the final episode and the ending. I love it when media delivers a strong and innovative final act and Life is Strange definitely succeeds in that! Overall I really liked the atmosphere and most of the music. There were some slow moments and sometimes a bit too much teenage drama, but in the end it's all forgiven for such an excellent finale. Uplifting!"
78 42% The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim - Dawnguard (2012) - Rated 20 Aug 2020
"Vampires are cool and there's some cool stuff in this expansion. But overall, I didn't really enjoy the huge maps that were mostly empty and part of important quests. Decent, but could have been better."
