"I mean, I liked it, but damn did it rip of the Arkham games, all the way down to the controls. It lacked the sinister atmosphere of those games and didn't quite make up for with humour. It actually worked better in the sad and serious parts. After finishing it I kinda wanna play the Arkham trilogy again, but I almost always feel like that. (And, yes Morten, I want to get all the trophies again.) But I also wanna dig out my old Spider-Man comics and give them a read."

"Having played this multiple times, I've grown to appreciate the story more and to accept the visual style even if I don't agree with it. My biggest problem is really with the stupid challenge system, combined with the game being to bugged to registre when you actually do them. A subpar Arkham game, but an Arkham game nonetheless."

"How do I love this game? Let me count the ways. One PS2 edition, one PS3 edition, one PS4 edition. Yeah, this game is so great I've bought it three times already. The artwork, the music and the intricate and weird plot have never aged. Okay, strictly speaking, maybe I should knock a few point off, on account of the stupid jump puzzles, but this is my review and this game deserves it all for making me bawl my eyes out, dammit!"

"They manage to expand on almost everything that made the first game great. More cool combat moves and you get to glide over Gotham (I may or may not have gone Whee! while doing said gliding) and land heavily on bad guys as a way to start a fight. It doesn't have the same creepy, claustrophobic atmosphere or the brilliant mindfuck of the first, but it manages to be its own game so much that you don't really miss it."

"Rocksteady rolled a natural 20 with this game, which just rocks (pun not intended) in every way possible. The setting, the voice acting, the way it crams in references to a ridiculous number of character from the canon, the way it COMPLETELY SCREWS YOU OVER with the third round of Scarecrow gas."

"Way back I played this game not only without having played Chains of Memories (which was only on gameboy) but also without having played the first game. Yes, I spend a great deal of time being confused about plotpoints, but I was also confused about all the zippers so what the heck. I applaud this game for making us care about characters and a world which the turns out to be a complete dead end. And this was the first game I played that made me feel (read: cry like a kid with a skinned knee)."

"Maybe it hasn't aged particularly gracefully, but the basic idea of doing a crossover between FF and Disney is so out there that it still feels fresh here fifteen years later. I would give a higher score if it wasn't for all those stupid jump puzzles."
