Marvel's Wolverine (2026) - Rated 24 Sep 2026
Boring storing, satisfying but very repetitive combat that lacks any depth, terrible level design, and filled with yellow paint telling you where to go even though 90% of the game is just hallways. The lack of innovation is mind boggling coming from such a prestigious studio. They literally have traversal trials where all you do is hold forward. No platforming or skill required. And they have literal white paint to make sure you don't get lost during the straight forward trial.

The Last of Us (2013) - Rated 16 Aug 2026
Almost felt like this game had two climaxes. For some that might be a highlight of the story, but It just left me wanting it to end for most of the last hour. Despite that it is some of the best writing, and performances you'll see in gaming. While the combat has it's problems it keeps you on your toes at all times. At moments it almost feels like a horror game. I love the art direction as well. Blows games like "Day's Gone" out the water in that regard.

Batman: Arkham Origins (2013) - Rated 14 Aug 2026
Only good parts of this game are the boss fights, some character designs, and the reused assets of arkham city. Almost everything new about the game didn't work.

Batman: Arkham Knight (2015) - Rated 14 Aug 2026
Very well made game, but the soundtrack, story, and overall game design was a pretty severe downgrade from the rest of the series. That being said I love it despite it's flaws.

Batman: Arkham Asylum (2009) - Rated 14 Aug 2026
Part of me thinks this is the best game in the series. It's just knows exactly what it wants to do. There's no open world, or 20 hour story trying to be a cinematic masterpiece. It's just 8 non stop hours of fulfillng your childhood dream of being Batman. It's simple and not as grand as City or Knight, but that is It's greatest strength. The only thing stopping this from being a 10 is that on replays you wish there was a little more depth to the combat, and sometimes you can feel the jank.

Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice (2019) - Rated 14 Aug 2026
Extremely overrated combat. People act like it's the best combat of all time when in reality it doesn't even compete with other top tier games. There is only one way to play the game. There is no new way to approach combat on a second playthrough. There is no player expression in combat. Literally the only valid way to play is parrying to break posture. Even the gadgets and other abilities don't allow for a new approach. Watch 10 people play this game, and they'll all play exactly the same.
