Nakashima

Bio: Name's supposed to be NinjaNakashima, I use it everywhere, but it wouldn't fit. I have a bachelor's in Creative Writing. Movies are a good source of inspiration as well as a good way to spend my time while knitting and crocheting my current projects. n.n I love horror, action and fantasy movies, but I give most genres a chance (comedies nowadays are pointless though).

Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin (2022) - Rated 06 Oct 2026

Pretty underwhelming. The opening was awful and I had zero clue what I was doing or what was going on despite them throwing everything at you all at once. The characters were alright but nothing to write home about. Though I did like the Gilgamesh pet stuff, too bad it gets really difficult and I just gave up after finishing the required floors.

Resident Evil Village: Winters' Expansion (2022) - Rated 06 Oct 2026

Very needed despite how I wasn't too happy with the overall game after many playthroughs. If it wasn't for this expansion I wouldn't have been able to play at all as I am prone to motion sickness and cannot play any 1st person games (even the very short opening to 3 was almost too much for me).

Resident Evil Requiem (2026) - Rated 06 Oct 2026

So much fun. Was going around all slow and scared as Grace, but felt the fun and action through Leon's stuff. I love getting to see Leon deal with his issues that stem from his worst first day ever, and also how despite him being pretty over all this hassle, he is still kind and gentle when trying to deal with someone in need. Little disappointed we had 0 mention of Claire in a place her memory should have been very alive in, but Veronica is coming so holding out hope.

Started off pretty good, but the more times I played through the more annoyed I got. Too many forced walk sections and Ethan started to annoy the hell out of me. Like he has too little personality to have any of the stuff he says really feel like it fits him. The ending is still a nice touch for his character, I just wish I didn't find him so annoying and overall like a nothing character.

Not a bad game, but it was pretty forgettable for me character wise. I am really drawn in by characters more so than anything else. If you can make me love a character, I will sit through just about any gameplay/story. Sadly this one was pretty lackluster in that regard. It was an alright play and I wasn't mad at it, there was just nothing that really hooked me.

Absolutely loved every minute and I have sunk 200+hrs into it at this point. I played through at least 7 times and still did every side quest and extra bits on each one. I have gotten multiple tattoos for this one along with my other favorites.

Kingdom Hearts III (2019) - Rated 06 Oct 2026

Decent enough of a play, but the storyline is completely incomprehensible at this point that I was just entirely over it. Axel became my favorite character simply for being relatable and not understanding a single thing that was explained to him. Only the reunion scene with Aqua had any weight to it for me, everything else made me feel very unconnected and that is one of the worst things a game can do for me.
