Battlefield V

Disclaimer: I only play BF for multiplayer so this review completely ignores single-player. I just rate these 90 because I like how they feel, I like the destruction, the maps are good for the most part (and the few that aren't just don't match my style). Feels pretty familiar in a lot of ways, but I think that's what I want, though I wish there were more game modes and I wish the Battle Royale mode was already out. Prefer modern/futuristic shooters, but this series is one of my MP go-tos.

Dice destroyed the Battlefield series with this game. Weapons (especially support) are underwhelming. A Battlefield 3 remake should have replaced this game.

Playing the multiplayer solo is boring garbage. The single player is okay to run and gun through once and never again.

The online is just the same thing again, which means it's pretty good. The single player is decent if you skip all the cutscenes, ignore the copious bugs, and play it with the volume down while listening to a podcast. Further cements that calling the previous game Battlefield 1 was a stupid decision. "Let's call it Battlefield 1 because it's set during WWI" "Cool. Now our next game is set during WWII, do we call it Battlefield 2?" "No, no, we can't do that."

This is awful. Stick with Call of Duty games. Your guy walks as slow as molasses in this game. You have very limited ammo in this. To kill enemies it takes a while. Everything is in small text or small symbols you can't even tell if the enemies are dead or not. It's supposed to be a Run & Gun game but they want you to stealth in this and not kill enemies. You go to a check point and it won't progress to the next thing. Just play Call of duty games instead.
