As classic of an arcade game as Dig Dug or Pac-Man. Unlike those games; however, Circus Charlie has a lot more variety in gameplay and each game you play feels solid and satisfying to play. As an old arcade game, the replay value stems from getting better at the game and the skill ceiling for this title is steep enough to make that process enjoyable. Granted, individually these games aren't as complex as, say, Pac-man, but they're still enjoyable to play.

Save states are a must but a surprisingly fun, simple game.
