I really wanted to love this. It's the best Crash game since the Naughty Dog days but it doesn't hold a candle to that original trilogy. There is a bunch of annoying BS and there are a ton of little gameplay issues that were never present before and add up to an, at times, infuriating experience. The game has a real problem with depth perception and camera placement. They even added a distracting ring to show right where you'll land, acknowledging the depth issue, but it still causes problems.

This is a good Crash game if you are just playing this game to beat the story. Otherwise if you are trying to 100% everything this game is awful for doing that. It's getting this score because the difficulty mid way through this game to the end is really hard and unfair. Once you beat this you don't want to replay this ever again. Crash 2 is the best one in this series.
