It was a groundbreaking game. Insanely realistic graphics, a new change of pace in gameplay with nanosuit. Its Turkish voice acting was something else. No other game accomplished a Turkish VA like this game, even movies couldn't actually.

Cool game but sometimes not that exciting. Only played it years later though.

I was in super speed mode, I threw a barrel in the air, swapped to super strength to jump high, flicked out my assault rifle and shot the barrel just in range of a helicopter to destroy it. I remember this 11 years on. I built my first gaming PC for this game and I still believe it's criminally underrated.

The quintessential benchmark title for high-end PCs everywhere, Crysis was a visually stunning game in a huge open environment not really seen before. Changing your suit's abilities on the fly allowed you to tackle missions in seemingly endless ways, making for a fun and varied game experience. Hampered by non-existent characters and a weak story, Crysis nonetheless is one of the best PC shooters to be released in the 2000s.

I was always so bad at this game. IDK if this is a fair rating but it's mine. If I'm incapable of playing a game, how can I rate it highly?

Crysis, ten years later, remains a beautiful game, and it's fun to play, but if you peel back the layers, it's actually very linear and the story goes in some real dumb directions. If they had tried a little harder at making it an open world experience, it would go immediately from good to great, but it gets marks from me for the open-ended way you can play it.

But can it run Crysis? Probably the only game that was more renowned for being a benchmark tool rather than it's gameplay.

Beautiful graphics on a pretty impressive engine don't make up for a shoddy story.
