Polished atmospheric game with Intriguing graphics and vibe. Hoarding and organizing items is pretty good. Died a lot during nights wasn't fun. But Strategize and narrowlingly surviving the night is awesome. Don't like getting lost in the game or back tracking is a pain when inventory is full or when you die; low stamina and no full vision detracts from exploration. Felt like a chore to finish story & end up finding out you have one chance to get to true ending (with no warning). Youtube it.

I wouldn't have expected a top-down game with this sort of art style to be as effectively creepy as it is. Excellent atmosphere and sound design especially. The night-time segments aren't quite as tense as they're supposed to be. It's pretty easy to make sure you're always well prepared for nightfall and what follows is a lot of dull waiting interspersed with the occasional intense moment

The first few hours of this game are tense, scary, and memorable, yet as the game progresses it quickly looses steam. The gameplay can't match the atmosphere, the atmosphere eventually diminishes as it doesn't throw enough at you to keep it fresh, and all you're left with is boring survival gameplay surrounded by a world that you've finished soaking in a few hours ago. I think the first five hours are worth the price of admission, but this isn't a game I felt compelled to finish.
