Deadly Premonition

It's observing some idiots interpretation of Twin Peaks but you get to play around in it.

It's a bizarre Twin Peaks fan fiction that is somewhat interesting to watch, but I couldn't stand actually playing it

A decent game with a fun take on the Twin Peaks "weird little town with lotsa secrets" genre. Could've been a great game, but for two big flaws. First, the zombie fighting, which gets tedious quickly, interrupts exploration of interesting and creepy environments, and feels like it was thrown in because "horror game" means "zombies and guns". Second, the ending, which takes the interesting characters and plot, and throws them out in favor of... I don't even know what they were trying for.

Fun silliness hampered by mediocre gameplay.

In reality, Deadly Premonition is a bad video-game version of Twin Peaks. In my own sarcastic head, this game is a near-masterpiece of so-bad-it's-good gameplay, bizarre line-reading, and batshit crazy plotting.

Arguably one, if not the worst best game ever made. If you don't know or like Twin Peaks, the game is probably even worse. Because even if it's bad, you can still smile because you recognize the references. If this is not the case I think everything goes down the drain
