Destiny 2

I don't even know how to rate this. My last playthrough was with the Beyond Light expansion and I played it completely solo and I don't even know why I dropped so many hours into it. This remains a gear grind with an uninteresting MP mode, locked legacy content, bad writing that is uninvestable, and raids remain the dumbest thing I've ever seen. I'm sorry, but I miss when Bungie was less corporate and actually gave a shit.

The gameplay isn't terrible, but the lazy-ass writing detracts from the very short bursts of fun you occasionally have with the shooting. And those bursts certaintly don't occur during bullet-spongey boss fights.

The gameplay works fundamentally, meaning the shooting feels nice, but my god, it's so boring

Honestly this game isn't for everyone, as well as it not being beginner friendly for small context, is an MMO Shooter game that requires you to spend ALOT of money and ALOT of time in exchange you get some of the best content... or... The most frustrating and disappointed multiplayer experience in existence, if you're going to play, I recommend having a friend, or a YT video/guide, as you can get an opinion from them, ultimately, I don't recommend this game especially if you're new or solo.

i liked the story a lot at times. i'd play a whole game of the intro part shooting those wild beasts in that mountainous field. i think i tried the post game a bit and was okay. and it was my first ps4 game

A massive step up from the original Destiny but still wanting in more ways than I can convey in 500 characters.

More of the same. I didn't spend as much time with this as I did the first but I like it. I like the way these games feel and they are entertaining with a buddy, but I don't care about the story and I don't think it does a lot to make the game exciting. I also hated the beginning of this game.

A gear grind MMO, who would have thought. It's fun with friends (like almost any game). I will say this, it plays incredibly well. Its smooth and doesn't bog down systems.
