No reason to play this instead of any of the Ninja Turtles or Power Rangers beat-'em-ups.

This is the nes Version which is completely different from the arcade and the Sega Genesis one which is also the arcade version. This Version you can play single or Coop with a friend. You have to play this with a friend because the last boss is super hard to beat in this alone. You start off with 2 characters and by the 4th and last level of this game you get to play as Chin and Ranzou by defeating them as they join your team.

The NES version actually improves the arcade experience. Sure, the graphics take a hit but that's about it. Platforming elements are added along with the copious amounts of ways to beat up your opponent and in game character selection brings an element of variety.
