I don't get the love for this game. While the Djinn powers are cool, the world, plot, cast and even the gameplay is some of the most generic shit you'll ever find in a JRPG. The main highlight is that some of the dungeon design is pretty cool, but that doesn't save the obnoxious random enemy encounters and generic as hell gameplay.

I think I'm nostalgic for this one because it was one of my first forays into deeper RPGs. It's a fun excursion with a decent length. And the music is beautiful, even for a GBA game.
