I like seeking out games that use the interactive art form in unique ways. This does that and it does it really well. It made me feel like I was really there. It's a story worth experiencing for yourself, and the non-linear nature in which it unravels makes it unique for everybody. Even though you just type words into a database and watch FMVs of a girl named Hannah, it's fascinating stuff. There's even a little bit of eeriness in it. Hannah had a few off moments but that's a minor dig.

This game has the worst interface I've ever experienced. The actress does a fine job but the writing is contrived, repetitive, and unnatural for the sake of the mechanics. The reveal is good, but is also an unwarranted, unrewarding info dump. I'm missing the hype.

What a novel idea! It's not perfect, but it is really cool and certainly innovative. Because of the way that you can experience the story in any order, I accidentally stumbled onto the big plot twist almost immediately, which definitely wasn't the ideal way to experience the story and did lessen the impact of the many less substantial clips that followed. The "knocking" thing was awesome. Finished in a little over an hour. Would love to see the idea pushed further.

One of the most interesting ways I've seen of telling a story. It developes exactly the rythm and road you understand it, having one of the most simple gameplays possible and for that reason, easy to access for less experienced players (or someone that haven't played ever). Considering the story itself is a good one and it's properly structured, it's one of my best game experiences ever. I would recommend trying to play it at once in 2-3 straight hours, like you're watching a movie.

This is a fascinating storytelling experiment: the scenery is paired back to the bare minimum; the interaction, similarly - yet a whole world unfolds in the gaps.

A solid experience of pulpy fiction and murder intrigue. It works because of the excellent performance from the only actress working. It only took me an afternoon to figure out what happened but that afternoon was great.

I think this is probably a little dated and clunky now, but when it came out it was kind of a revelation.
