The first game I ever beat. A weird world, full of lost civilizations and strange monsters, full of character and color, with solid mechanics and lots of interesting exploration.

A solid outing by Quintet that feature some solid combat and interesting locations. The story is ends up being both bizarre and underwritten at the same time. The character-work in the North American release is also fairly poorly handled.

Zelda-like but doesn't do it as well. Story ends up a little thin, but different. I haven't felt the need to go back and replay it in well over a decade.

A pretty nice adventure-RPG that combines Zelda-feeling gameplay with a somewhat more surreal and spiritual story, though I'm even more a fan of its unofficial sequel Terranigma.
