Ugh, this game as way too hard for me. I don't care, I gave up after spending a entire day trying to get past the first boss fight. Frustratingly difficult, and not in a rewarding way like Dark Souls either.

Improving the camera and giving the player control over it is the largest upgrade over the base game and reason enough to re-buy it. One of the most satisfying and replayable action games ever made.

Despite the fact ultimate chaining is overly strong and the design emphasizes this decision as well as some unintuitive execution of certain moves, this is a pretty damn good game. Really dig how aggressive and brutal the enemies are and how the game never let's up the pace on enemy encounters with a lot of cool ways you can interact with enemies through environments. It could use a lot more personality in its characters and plot, but the animations and visuals are still stellar.

I've yet to complete this, as I'm finding making further progress difficult, not least due to a frustrating camera. The setting and some interesting characters make me want to give it another go, however.
