Ori and the Will of the Wisps

Fuck the sandworm part. Besides that, there are very few games that have made me as emotional as this one; the way it was both warm and sad, the losses and the way its story was told, not afraid to shy away from things. I cared about the villain by the end because of its past traumas. Gameplay is complex and enhances the story (you feel the struggle). Visuals were rich with detail and beautiful art design, with excellent animation. Music is cinematic but creates atmosphere wonderfully. Brilliant

The first one was better, but still awesome.

Beautiful to look at and listen to. Well-constructed Metroidvania design that gets tricky towards the end but doesn't feel unnecessarily punishing.

More of the same. Very well-made and polished platformer. Can't tell if there's any huge improvements from the Blind Forest.

This is like Ori 1 but with some pretty decent combat. There are like 3 or 4 good boss battles in here, and the action is really smooth and fluid.
